Every server from NewServerLife comes with a free standard hardware warranty. The duration of your coverage depends on the total value of your order.

Free Standard Warranty Tiers

The following coverage is included
in the base price of your server:

$20,000 and above	3 Years (36 months)

Applies to orders paid on or after Feb 17, 2026. Orders paid before keep their original invoice/quote warranty (including paid add-ons).

What’s included in our standard warranty

Covered components All hardware: CPU, RAM, HDDs/SSDs, RAID controllers, NICs, power supplies, fans, motherboard, chassis, and accessories included in the original configuration.

Diagnostics Remote troubleshooting by our technical support team

Shipping coverageUSA & Canada We cover shipping for replacement parts. Return shipping is typically covered by the customer unless otherwise agreed

Pre-shipping testing All servers are stress-tested: BIOS config, CPU/memory load testing, disk diagnostics, thermal checks

Replacement process We ship replacement parts. If necessary, the server may be returned for repair or exchange via the RMA process

Shipping coverageInternational For equipment located outside the USA and Canada, NewServerLife may provide replacement parts, but all shipping costs, duties, and taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Extended warranty options

If your order total qualifies for a shorter term, you can purchase an upgrade to extend your protection. All extended warranties must be purchased at the time of ordering the server.

2-year warranty

You can extend your standard coverage to 2 years for just +10% of the server’s base price.

3-year warranty

You can extend your standard coverage to 3 years for just +15% of the server’s base price.

Same scope of coverage as the standard warranty
Covers all components, remote diagnostics, and replacement shipping
Available only at the time of purchase — cannot be added later
Add-on option is visible during checkout or via custom quote

Special Warranty Programs

5-year warranty

If your server is hosted through our Colocation service, it automatically qualifies for a 5-year hardware warranty at no additional cost.

The warranty remains valid as long as the server stays in one of our partner datacenters under an active colocation plan.
If the server is removed from colocation, the warranty reverts to the standard tier (1, 2, or 3 years) based on the original purchase price from the delivery date.

Accessory Warranty

Accessories purchased separately (not as part of a complete server configuration) are covered by a 3-month warranty from the date of delivery. This applies to items such as cables, rails, bezels, and other standalone components.

Important Warranty Notes & Limitations

Right to Refund

NewServerLife reserves the right to issue a refund for the value of the faulty component (at the original purchase price) instead of providing a replacement or repair, at our discretion.

Exclusions

Coverage does not apply to accidental damage, misuse, unauthorized modifications, incorrect installation, power surges, or external environmental factors.

Replacement Limit

In the event of a component failure, we provide a one-time replacement for that specific component with a fully functional equivalent.

Activation

Warranty starts on the delivery date as indicated by the shipping carrier tracking.

Condition of Returns

Returned items must be in original condition with all components and protective packaging. See our Return Policy for details.

Territorial Scope

Full warranty support including shipping coverage is provided only within the USA and Canada.
