Every server from NewServerLife comes with a standard 1-year warranty at no extra cost.

What’s included in our standard warranty

Standard warranty duration 12 months from the delivery date (based on carrier tracking)

Included in base price Yes — no extra cost for the standard warranty

Covered components All hardware: CPU, RAM, HDDs/SSDs, RAID controllers, NICs, power supplies, fans, motherboard, chassis, and accessories included in the original config

Shipping coverage We cover shipping for replacement parts. Return shipping typically covered by the customer unless otherwise agreed

Pre-shipping testing All servers are stress-tested: BIOS config, CPU/memory load testing, disk diagnostics, thermal checks

Replacement process We ship replacement parts. If necessary, the server may be returned for repair or exchange via the RMA process

Accessory warranty Accessories purchased separately (not as part of a complete server configuration) are covered by a 3-month warranty from the date of delivery. This applies to items such as cables, rails, bezels, and other standalone components.

Exclusions Warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, modifications, incorrect installation, power surges, or external/environmental factors

Extended warranty options

We offer flexible warranty upgrades to meet the needs of different customers and deployment scenarios. All extended warranties must be purchased at the time of ordering the server.

2-year warranty

(optional upgrade)

You can extend your standard coverage to 2 years for just +10% of the server’s base price.

Details:

Same scope of coverage as the standard warranty
Valid for 24 months from the delivery date
Covers all components, remote diagnostics, and replacement shipping
Available only at the time of purchase — cannot be added later
Add-on option is visible during checkout or via custom quote

5-year warranty

(for colocated servers)

If your server is hosted through our Colocation service, it automatically qualifies for a 5-year hardware warranty at no additional cost.

Conditions:

The warranty remains valid for as long as the server stays in one of our partner datacenters under an active colocation plan
If the server is removed from colocation, the warranty reverts to the standard 1-year coverage from the original delivery date
Covers all server hardware and includes replacement shipping, diagnostics, and remote assistance during the colocation period

Colocation
servers

Servers hosted through our colocation plans are covered by a 5-year warranty while colocated with us

Condition
of returns
